Clam Man is a mirror Kick Off race.  Same courses, featuring a big swim or a beginner swim.  Both are very popular.  Cherrystone is the feature race.  Littleneck is an awesome beginner and fun veteran race.

Littleneck course is a .25 swim, 10 mile bike and 3 mile run.   This is a great beginner course with a swim you can stand up in for much of the way if the tide is right.  Awards are 10 ten M/F.

 

Cherrystone course is .5 mile swim, 10 mile bike and 3.5 mile run.  Awards are top 5 overall, and 5 year age group plus clydesdale and athena.  

The swim can be spiritual and challenging.  Start coincides with sunrise and breathtaking goggle views east for right side breathers.  Bring the mirrors.  Your fans follow you on a path just 20 yards from the buoys.  Get the Flip video out!  The bike and run rock the Jersey flats with awesome wetland views.

Below, ClamMan's Littleneck swim is fast and comfortable.  The Barnegat Bay course is protected from wind in 3 directions.  You are going to like this race right from the "in water" start!
