Berkeley Island water temp 5pm: 66 degrees
West winds have pushed the cold water out, and swimmers today were very happy. Expect low tide, and a little dolphin diving to the swim finish. We will have an in water start.

The Kick Off swim is a great way to start 2010
CW race overview: Start your season off with a bang!
Same race course as well received 2009 ClamMan. Wetsuit legal. Tell your fans to get there before 6:45am, because the Berkeley Police do a great job keeping the roads safe for our racers and will hold traffic on the bike course at times.
Wetsuit swim for .30m in the projected 65 degree Barnegat Bay....Bike the lightning fast out and back 10m loop through the wetland flats on great 5 foot of sea level pavement....Run 3.1m and finish on the picturesque Berkeley Island point.
A super course, and a great venue for spectators to see the start, transitions, and finish.
Certified USAT Coach Stephanie Crofton (above), is Co-RD for the 2010 ladies race, and sure to put a little personal touch on a fun day of early May racing at the Jersey Shore.
